Director Anne Kleisen made her film Sarah’s Night (Sarahs Nacht) and asked us to compose for it. The children’s documentary has its première on Octobre 20th at the Cinekid Festival in Amsterdam and is on screen twice.
The documentary is about Sarah, a 11-year-old girl. Her mother is ill and can’t take care of her. Therefore Sarah lives in a foster home. In spite of her caring foster parents, Sarah is not able to find her way and longs to live with her mother. At night, she can’t sleep and is awake for hours. Will she find a solution for her sleeping problem? And will she find a way to feel at home with her foster parents?
